The Vigo County Bass Championship brings together student anglers from the three county high schools for more than just a day of competition—they’re teaming up to support a meaningful cause.

All proceeds from this event benefit Hospice of the Wabash Valley, a nonprofit organization that has proudly served the Wabash Valley for over 43 years. Founded in 1982 by Jackie Fox, this hospice was built by the community, for the community—rooted in a mission to provide compassionate end-of-life care to individuals and families throughout the region.

In 2018, the organization expanded its care through the opening of The Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care, a dedicated inpatient facility designed to provide comfort and support in a home-like setting.

By donating, sponsoring, or simply showing your support, you're helping our student athletes give back—and ensuring that hospice care continues to be available for those who need it most.
